Director Terry R. Wickham is ecstatic to announce Music Composer Houssem Turki has agreed to score the upcoming thriller Enhanced Interrogation.
Wickham talks about it, “It’s very early in the game as we haven’t even shot the movie yet. But my vision for the film is so strong that I hear a particular musical approach and sound for this movie. After having such a great experience working with Houssem on The Devil’s Five segment, I felt he was the composer to get for Enhanced Interrogation.
I have to be honest. I work with some incredible composers, who are all more than capable of delivering top-notch scores. Like David Helping who created an unbelievably atmospheric score for Abandoned and Geoff Tyson who made some truly moody, creepy music for Stash. But as a filmmaker, you’ve got to innately know who the right artist is for each film and I felt that Houssem could deliver a killer orchestral-electronic score for Enhanced Interrogation.
Houssem and I have mutual respect and admiration for what we each do and that’s going to carry onto this film. I will be putting together some musical references to go along with the script, so he can start formulating ideas for the score.
I also felt that because Houssem lives in a foreign land and considering his orchestral background that he could create a musical tapestry that not only captured the suspense and drama that unfolds, but engineer the middle-eastern tinged instrumentation the movie needs at times.
I’m really excited to be working with the Tunisia based Composer and creating another cinematic journey that rivals anything coming out of Hollywood.”
