Producer Daryl Brooks cast Shaneen Allen to play “Imani”, the wife of FBI Agent “Jim Jamison” in the upcoming political thriller Enhanced Interrogation.
Director Terry R. Wickham speaks about her, “I did a read through with Shaneen and Raina Williamson, who is playing her daughter in the movie and they were very believable together. I also think Shaneen has a spark that is shining right now.
I also think she understands the tremendous opportunity this gives her to make her acting debut and is motivated to do everything she can to make it a success.
The most important thing I feel Shaneen can bring to the movie is the grounded reality of being a mother (which she is in real life). Also it’s key she comes across in her relationship with her husband that they have history and feels legitimate.
I also really appreciate that Shaneen is willing to help us raise funds to make our movie, which you can help her by going to our Go Fund Page.”
Shaneen Allen is an African American single mother of two who obtained a Pennsylvania Concealed Carry permit after being the victim of two robberies in Philadelphia. Shaneen while working several jobs to support her young family, took a break to bring her children on a trip to New Jersey for a birthday party. Shortly after crossing into New Jersey, she was pulled over for a minor traffic violation. Upon request for identification from the police officer, she voluntarily disclosed that she was carrying a firearm and that she had a license to carry concealed.
Unlike her driver’s license, her permit-to-carry was not recognized by the neighboring state. Shaneen was shackled, arrested and hauled off to jail. She lost her job and was unable to support her family.
With the help of many great Americans in the Second Amendment community and with an eventual pardon from Governor Chris Christie, Shaneen is now moving forward with her life. Her goal is to empower women and minorities to be independent, self-sufficient and to have access to the resources to protect their children.
Trenton based Carter W. Patterson was chosen by Producer/Writer Daryl Brooks to play the terrorist “Hasan” in the upcoming political thriller Enhanced Interrogation.

Carter is very intelligent and we’ll spoken. I am looking forward to working with him and help make his acting debut a successful one.”

Actor Dewane Parker will play “Jim Gallagher” in the upcoming political thriller Enhanced Interrogation.
Director Terry R. Wickham fills in the details, “Dewane was cast by Producer/Writers Daryl Brooks and Stephen Martino before I came onto the film. But I was very impressed with him after meeting him. His life experiences are pretty incredible and his acting credentials make him definitely qualified to play such an important role in our film.
The role of “Jim Gallagher” is one of the most critical in Enhanced Interrogation. “Gallagher” is one of the motors that drives the film. What I like so much about the character is the different levels of humanity he shows.
Sure he’s a tough guy, but he also has a deep heart, which were characteristics I noticed while spending time with Dewane at the Enhanced Interrogation press day in Trenton (see photo above from that productive May 20th day).
Dewane is a man who’s seen a lot having served under three Presidents of the United States and been a law enforcement/security professional for over 30 years. He’s definitely going to help make Enhanced Interrogation authentic and the best it can be.”
