Actor-Comedian Phil Korz has been chosen to play “Interrogator 1” for the upcoming political thriller Enhanced Interrogation.
Filmmaker Terry R. Wickham explains, “There’s something about Phil that reminds me of actor Ryan Reynolds. He’s got potential star quality and I really wanted him to be in the film.
Phil actually auditioned for another character, but between his audition and the fact that he is a professional personal trainer, it was a no brainer to cast him as the main Interrogator in the film.
I needed an actor who could appear physically threatening and if you add in Phil’s dynamic personality, I could easily visualize him in this important role.
He’s also got a great positive attitude that will carry over and infect everyone working on our film. I can’t wait to work with him.”
The first time Phil Korz took the stage at only 18 years old in 2009, he went home Salisbury University’s “Last Comic Standing” winner. He Performed with names such as Chad Daniels, KT Tatara, Marienne Sierks, and Adam Ace early on in his career. Phil completed his first cross country comedy tour documentary “It’s Just Me” in 2016 filmed by Exploding Head Theory. Since, Phil has shared the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, George Wallace, Drew Lynch from Americas Got Talent, Nikki Carr from Last Comic Standing, and Bryan Riley from Conan.
